“After a considerable search for the table and chairs we wanted, with a butterfly leaf, we came across this set from East West. We wanted all wood product (no particle board with paper cover) and solid chairs. It took about two hours to assemble everything, but the fit and finish are flawless. Everything went together, easy to read and follow instructions and we are very pleased with the results. The first thing to do before you start is throw the hex tool and wrench away. I used a 1/2″ socket and a Milwaukee cordless with a hex driver and it made a huge difference in speed of assembly. Be sure to put the chairs together barely snug first, then have someone sit on them while you tighten up the screws. They will be flat and square that way. Would we buy this again? You bet. The closest we found that was similar to this was almost $3,000. Its quality furniture at a very handsome price point.”
