Ozil shark “Draw holes did not line up for the 2 bigger draws. I would suggest wait until you put the desk together, Put in the Knob, then once everything is in line, put in the screws that hold on the drawer fronts. Person that said 6 hrs. is what I would go with, taking your time. Instructions are good, but make sure you look at pictures also. Very Sturdy, and nice. We purchased two of these. Although it’s not real wood, the house is full of a wood smell. Also it looks and feels like real wood,. It comes in two boxes. One of the boxes I had to turn sideways, it was too wide to fit through the door. Very happy with these. Also purchased the bookcase, matches perfectly. the 2 drawer cabinet is on the way. Shipping was around a week. Took more time clearing our room then putting everything together. The drawers have ball bearings and are very smooth.”
Jhon wik “On a scale of 1 to 10, this would get an 8.5. I am a scale model builder as a hobby and this reminds me of one of those kits albeit at a 1:1 scale. There are about 50 steps to build the desk. So here are my thoughts:
1. All you need is a hammer and a good Phillips head screwdriver. Match the bit size to the drawing in the instructions and you will be fine.
2. The pieces arrived in a very secure package and there was no damage.
3. The screws and other hardware were in a separate large “sheet” with each screw type labeled in it’s own section. I had some extras which is not a bad thing.
4. For as many parts as there are, and as big as it is, the fit is very good with one exception which I have noted in the Bad section.”
Tomus dermison “Solid as a rock, not moving; handsome. But took more than 5 hours to put together. Drawers don’t close cleanly, they hit and/or stop on the drawer above or below other drawers. Tried to readjust, better, but not great. Overall, the desk looks unbelievable. Not real wood obviously, but looks real, great quality and for the price; you can’t beat it.”
